The Need for Peace

Here at Little Peace Apparel, we have become overwhelmed by the decay of the United States, and the rate at which corporate and political motives have aligned to make it happen. We believe wholeheartedly in the Constitution and the promise of this country. The delivery, however is worth mocking with radical malcontent and extreme prejudice. That is why we are here.

It was once told that anyone could come here and make a living for themselves. It's what we learned in school, and it's why people immigrate here, even today. The average age of a first time home buyer was 29 back in 1994, and 38 as of 2024. The avenues to the American Dream are laden with corporate bear traps subsidized by the people, our upward mobility stripped for the ever mysterious and amoebic rulers - The Shareholders.

We should all be angry at the divided state of America, but directing that anger towards your neighbor is doing the work of the oppressors for free. Regardless of who they voted for, their skin color, their genital situation, or opinions - our government and this incestuous amalgamation of private and public interests is terrified of us actually becoming the UNITED States of America.

We are all so insulated in our own algorithmic bubbles, forcefed rage bait slop to reinforce our most extreme worldviews, we become blinded by outrage and fear that whenever a shooting happens we rush to read the bullets so we can point fingers at our supposed "political enemies." So desensitized to violence and murder and violence, the deaths of those we disagree with garners a laugh.

We the people, have no political enemies in our fellow citizens. This is a fallacy wrought by corporate greed at the expense of your sense of safety, sanity, community, and general well being. We may have been the greatest country in the world at one point, but how could that ever be again if all our energy is spent ripping ourselves apart rather than scrutinizing the establishments meant to enable the American dream?

These establishments are clearly not doing right by the people, everyone on both sides of the aisle can agree on that, but political game has become about as vain as reality T.V. In order to be successful, they rely on viral video clips instead of rock solid policy that helps their constituents. Trump went hard talking to podcasters, and has a whole network of paid mouthpieces presented as figureheads for free speech and independent thought, while exclusively providing paid speech to push establishment agendas.

The Russians believed that the U.S. could not be destroyed by traditional military means, but through sewing division via hurtful ideologies that gets the population at each other's throats - we're not really gonna let those assholes beat us are we? Every time you villainize, dehumanize, and otherwise illegitimize another person in America, you are helping the Russians destroy America from within. Nice job, commie.

There are virtually no politicians that care for you or your family, they are bought and paid for by the time they're in office. And the ones that don't play ball are never going to win, especially if we keep pretending this is a goddamn football game, where we want our side to win no matter the cost. Fuck the politicians from here to the sun. They are called public servants, but they have strayed too far from the path, and the only way we get them back on track is to unite and redirect every bit of scrutiny towards them as permitted by the constitution.

All we want is a little peace.
